# 🗃️ HIFIMAN

- [DEVA Pro](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/deva-pro.md)
- [HE-400](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/untitled-44.md): Stock HE-400 is actually a really horrible headphone. Ghastly tuning.
- [HE-400 + Denon Pads + Thermolam disk (ear-side)](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/untitled-44/untitled-45.md)
- [HE-400 + Denon D2/5/7K Pads](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/untitled-44/untitled-46.md)
- [HE-500](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/untitled-41.md): Original velour pads still beat almost all other pads. Anything pleather/leather will do bad things. These headphones NEED velour or fabric pads.
- [HE-500 + Wang Yifei Hifiman Velour Pads](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/untitled-41/he-500-+-wang-yifei-hifiman-velour-pads.md): Perfect tuning and the most comfortable ear pad I've ever used on the HE-500. I can finally give a 100% full recommendation on a HE-500 ear pad.
- [HE-500 + Aftermarket HE-560 Pads](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/untitled-41/he-500-+-aftermarket-he-560-pads.md): Basically perfect sound. Pads could be more comfortable.
- [HE-500 + Pali Pads](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/untitled-41/he-500-+-pali-pads.md): Gives a very technically neutral sound but lacks enjoyment. Too purist. Some will love this.
- [HE-500 + Modified AKG K551 pads](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/untitled-41/hifiman-he-500-+-modified-akg-k551-pads.md): A viable option.
- [HE-500 + DIY Ear Pads](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/untitled-41/untitled-42.md): Hand-stitched pads made of pleather and velvety fabric. Great tonality, but tiny soundstage and lacking airiness.
- [HE-500 + 115mm Pads + Mods](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/untitled-41/untitled-43.md): Over-sized aftermarket pads... 'air' is very much dead when using these pads though. Typical of pleather/leather pads with this headphone. Bass is truly excellent though.
- [HE-500 + Aftermarket HE-500 pads](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/untitled-41/he-500-+-aftermarket-he-500-pads.md): Rise at 1kHz is not good. Sound is slower and thick. Not airy.
- [Hifiman HE-500 + Focus Pads](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/untitled-41/hifiman-he-500-+-focus-pads.md): Meh. Sounds a bit stale. Would not recommend.
- [HE-6](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/he-6.md): Original 4-Screw Version
- [HE-6 + Pali Pads](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/he-6/he-6-+-pali-pads.md): Lacks a TINY amount dynamics and imaging, but mostly resolves treble spiciness. Recommended alternative.
- [HE-6 + Modified AKG K551 Pads](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/he-6/he-6-+-modified-akg-k551-pads.md): Almost no deviation from stock FR and presentation, and more comfortable.
- [HE-6 + Aftermarket HE-560 Pads](https://itsgreq.gitbook.io/headphone-measurements/hifiman/he-6/he-6-+-aftermarket-he-560-pads.md): Very poor compatitility with this pad. Not recommended. Dynamics and treble quality are ruined. Sounds 'boring'. Still gets 4 stars for almost reference tuning.
